GARL is the Professional Division for anyone in our Rehabilitation Field in Georgia who believes in quality leadership in our profession. Each year, we present a Leadership Award and Continuing Education Grant to recognize and encourage fellow rehabilitation professionals in our field who go above and beyond in providing outstanding leadership and who comprise the next generation of leaders in our state.

The major objectives of Georgia Association of Multicultural Rehabilitation Concerns are:
- Advocate on behalf of individuals with disabilities from culturally diverse populations to ensure equity, parity and quality in the delivery of rehabilitation services.
- Provide leadership and direction in research consistent with the mission of the Association.
- Advocate for, propose, and support legislation and policy that addresses the needs of individuals with disabilities from culturally diverse populations.
- Foster the growth, development and career enhancement of existing and potential members through professional development, mentoring and networking.
- Enrich the capacity of the larger rehabilitation community to better meet the needs of individuals with disabilities from culturally diverse populations through education, training and awareness.
- Promote a more culturally diverse rehabilitation community through advocacy, recruitment and outreach.
