The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation (RWSIR) GRA Chapter membership consists of RWSIR staff & retirees who are committed to serving persons with disabilities. Our chapter's passion is to sponsor special projects that benefit and improve the lives of others. We serve our local community by assisting with adaptive sports teams, special education classes, and by raising awareness of GRA and the importance of serving persons with disabilities. We serve RWSIR by sponsoring special activities for RWSIR Students and Patients and supported individual needs, as they arise, and can be addressed. RWSIR chapter fully supports the GRA State Chapter and mission.
The counties that SW GRA Chapter covers includes: Thomas, Grady, Colquitt, Mitchell, Baker, Doughtery, Lee, Terrell, Early, Calhoun, Decatur, Seminole, and Miller. This chapter has been fortunate to have past and current members who have held numerous state level positions with Georgia Rehabilitation Association.
We also have great legislative events locally every year, inviting local, state, and federal legislators.
